| Where can I pick Strawberries & Cherries? |
The strawberry farm is around 4km from the main festival site. It is best to be there early morning as they run out of strawberries very quickly. | Can I bring my dog? |
You can bring your pets, however, be realistic, this is a very large event with large crowds, hot days, and the streets are very crowded with very many young children as well. Your pets may be distressed in these circumstances. I would not like to see distressed pets during this event. Certainly do not bring your pets to Saturday evening fireworks. |
| Do you have a shuttle Bus? | Yes we have a shuttle bus that rotates from the station to the festival site and 2 stops on the Avenue of Honour. |
| Is there an ATM? | No we do not have an ATM on the festival site, there is one in the shopping centre across the road, as well as Bendigo Bank and Commonwealth banks in the main street |
| Is there a Baby change room? |
We have a baby change room inside the Public Hall |
| Are you accessible friendly? | The event is on the road and level park areas, some area's of the street may be a little tight, but the footpaths are clear for access. |
| Can I catch Public Transport? | VLine trains from Melbourne and Ballart are the way to get to Bacchus Marsh, the shuttle bus will be at the station for pick ups. |
| Will there be Road Closures in Place? | The Main Road, between Grant Street, and Young Streets will be closed from 4am - 9pm Saturday and Sunday. Woolpak Road will be closed to all but local traffic on Saturday and Sunday from 8am - 4pm |
| Is this a free event? | Yes this event is free to attend, there are a number of activities that are fee paying. We would appreciate a gold coin donation. |
| Photography and Filming |
Anyone undertaking commercial photography or filming at this festival must apply to the organisers for a permit. |
| What are the food Options? | We have a number of food vendors at the festival alongside the resturants and takeaway outlets on our main street and Village Shopping Centre. We have a dedicated gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options available. The Royal Hotel will have a special menu for the event weekend. |
| First Aid. |
There are two first aid posts onsite on the festival precinct. One first aid post is located in the Village Green The other first aid post is bat Eddie Toole Park during the street market hours. Bacchus Marsh Festival is a dry zone. Alcohol consumption is only permitted within designated licensed areas. Penalties will apply.
